 I want to choose hotel this time and we both decided on trying out this airbnb style "Dorsett Kuala Lumpur 15". It's about $90 per night for 2 pax, and i think it's very value for money for the room size, comfort and aesthetic minimalist interior designs. Entire trip planned by Kai bb (as usual) 🤗🥰 Saturday, 22 Mar 2025 2am - check-in at "Dorsett Kuala Lumpur 15" 3am - Rest & sleep 12pm - Lunch at Nature Restaurant, Bangsar 3pm - Visited Batu Caves 6pm - Shopping at Pavilion (Quby Store) 8pm - Dinner at Zen House (Japanese Cuisine), Sunway Pyramid Sunday, 23 Mar 2025 11am - Check out from hotel 12pm - Brunch at Roots, Bangsar 1.30pm - Explore Petaling Street 6pm - Dinner at 181 By BTwelve Cafe 8pm - Drive back to Singapore That's about it for our 2 days KL short trip.      Tony's birthday chalet: Meet up with ST at Far East Plaza bus stop after dinner; cab to Tony's chalet at Changi. Thanks ST for the cab ride! :)

Walked around to the beach, bowling alley, playground in the midnight; poker cards; truth or dare;
Charmaine and Dennis went back at around 4am+;
sleep - Hengki took the 'bird cage', Tony on sleeping bag, Shawn and I took each of the two beds;
Heard snores from Tony, and slight cough from ST when I couldn't sleep, because I have to control not to cough
6am - either i cough until awake or they have woke me up. I woke up coughing - ST wasn't sleeping already, and Hengki was standing, and pointed to the table next to me and asked me to drink water when i opened my eyes to glanced around. Oh, so there was a glass of water next to me.
After a while, I asked Shawn, "i got always cough in the middle of the night meh?" He said yes. "Is that why you and Hengki can't sleep?" I asked. He replied no (don't sound convincing) and asked, "your sleep wasn't affected by cough??". Erm, no leh. So paiseh.

Showered, then Tony's turn; Hengki singing to the music TV; ST and I talking about studies.

A 2D1N staycation in Universal Studio; Thanks Li Ying for inviting me to this staycation :) Karenia drives. The driver and both passengers were eating ice-creams in the car while on the journey to Universal Studio.

Dinner and relaxing walk around
Had buffet breakfast the next morning. (The food standard was normal only, trust me) Karenia left early and we had a nap on the comfortable bed. Upon wake up, we strolled along the poolside area. It was big and pretty. There's also a sheltered area whereby we can swim and have a glass of liquor in the middle of the pool.
This is about all for the hotel staycation. It feels as though we went just to try out sleeping on their beds, haha.
Bumped into ah yi and ah diu coincidentally and we went to Malaysian food street for lunch together.

22/3/2014: 3rd week of March, Saturday 
Dinner with Wingken at Kaiho sushi in Cuppage Plaza. The price wasn't as what i expected. I read online that the lunch set are highly recommended and at affordable price. Unfortunately, dinner crowd was shockingly little and there are no individual dinner set meal. Great disappointment for dinner at Kaiho sushi :(
Thanks wk for insisting to pay for this pricey dinner treat!

Rilakkuma sushi - idea origin from me. Inez was excited about this plan that she came over earlier in the morning to go grocery shopping with me. We were stuck halfway while making the blanket (omelette) and Li Hao secretly went in to help.

Once again, cheap and good lunch at Far East Plaza with uncle Alan, Catherine, Jodie, Hongjie, Alice, Yinbao and Huiyi :D
Deciding to tuck in at Yakitori but there were too many of us during peak lunch hours. So we waited for a big round table at the famous chicken rice shop and ordered whole chicken with a few other dishes.
While calling out One, Two, Three for everyone's photo, i sensed that someone was staring at me from another table - Izzat!

Tried out a hidden gem Thai restaurant, called Jane Thai in Orchard Towers with Li Ying in the evening. Had 2 plates of the seducing pineapple fried rice.

Officially invited by Li Ying to sleepover at Chinatown's ParkRoyal Pickering hotel;
5-star hotel which offers free flow of champagne & wines, desserts & cakes, sumptuous breakfast buffet with big crabs, sasshimi, etc at different timing of the day and night. Swimming pool that resembles that of small-scale version of MBS. In other words, tourists could spend an entire one day indulging in the care and entertainment provided by the hotel.

Dinner with YS at Bras Basah before attending the night's talk. Ate the bak chor mee which we tried before with Albert, Billy, Roney and Li Ying after first RES exam paper.
Had 2 rounds of it, and add mee (another plus point for this stall is add mee for free)

Accompanied Yinbao to Bugis Guan Yin temple. Josiah wanted to join in for lunch, so he initiated on recommending a vegetarian stall at Fortune Centre. Ordered a lamb set for myself which taste very close to meat. Thanks Josiah for our lunch treat and good recommendation :)
